Planting a Seed, Growing a Community: Swappel Net’s $50K in Seed Funding
Texas may be over 100 degrees, but that hasn’t stopped us here at Swappel from planting roots. For the last year our team of five has been working around the clock to bring the DFW Metroplex an improved online marketplace where people can buy, trade, and, sell their items or services.
We’ve been pulling weeds, killing bugs, and breaking ground all in preparation to harvest something of value to impact our local community. Bridging the gap between new and old forms of commerce, Swappel will allow people to practice all forms of exchange in one place. People that have money and those that don’t can use Swappel to find the things they need and want within their local communities, making it both easy and fun!
As we quickly approach the launch of our beta, we are excited to announce we have finalized negotiations with a private investor for a $50K seed funding round.
